Palavras escritas com X ou CH causam muitas dúvidas, não é verdade? Encher ou enxer é uma delas. Isso porque elas têm a mesma pronúncia, mas a grafia varia. Nossa, às vezes é de encher a paciência de qualquer pessoa! Ou será enxer?

Vai aí, então, uma dica para saber como se escreve encher: é só se lembrar de “cheio”. Todas as derivadas desse vocábulo serão grafadas da mesma maneira (enchimento, preencher, enchente, etc.).

Como se escreve: encher ou enxer?

Pois é, essa perguntinha está enchendo (ou enxendo?) o saco! Muitas palavras iniciadas com EN- são escritas com X. Por exemplo: enxada, enxame, enxurrada, enxaqueca, enxuto e por aí vai.

Mas com as derivadas da palavra cheio a história é diferente: encher se enquadra nesse caso, assim como a conjugação dos vários tempos e modos. Veja alguns exemplos:

• eu enchi, tu encheste (pretérito perfeito do indicativo);
• eu encheria, tu encherias (futuro do pretérito do indicativo);

• (se) eu enchesse, (se) tu enchesses (pretérito imperfeito do subjuntivo).

Encher: significado

O verbo equivale a tornar cheio, ocupar, completar e se opõe a esvaziar. Nesse sentido, pode-se dizer ainda que o verbo encher remete a criar algo com grande intensidade (encher de dúvidas, de medo etc.).

A origem da palavra remonta ao latim, implere, que significa completar e pode ser usada também em sentido conotativo.

Tem político que só fica enchendo linguiça no discurso. (enrolando)

O cara encheu a mão e deu um tapa no colega. (bateu com força)

Você não pode encher a cara e sair dirigindo! (beber em excesso)

Significado de “trazido”

A palavra trazido é, na verdade, a variação no particípio do verbo trazer. O particípio é uma forma nominal de verbos que permite a formação de tempos compostos, transmitindo o estado de uma ação após sua finalização.

• Tenho trazido meu marido todos os dias para o trabalho;
• Se você tivesse trazido sua carteira, não passaríamos por esse constrangimento.

Significado de “trago”

Já a palavra trago possui dois significados diferentes, podendo fazer referência a dois verbos: trazer e tragar.

Trago: verbo trazer

Neste caso, trago se refere à conjugação do verbo trazer, na primeira pessoa do singular do presente do indicativo, como é possível observar abaixo:

• (Tu) trazes
• (Ele) traz
• (Nós) trazemos
• (Vós) trazeis
• (Eles) trazem

Este verbo indica o ato de transportar algo ou encaminhar para algum lugar, podendo ser substituído por: oferecer, vestir, ocasionar, apresentar, sugerir, entre outros.

Trago: verbo tragar

Além do verbo trazer, trago também pode fazer referência ao verbo tragar. Neste caso, também corresponde à conjugação na primeira pessoa do singular do presente do indicativo:

• (Eu) trago
• (Tu) tragas
• (Ele) traga
• (Nós) tragamos
• (Vós) tragais
• (Eles) tragam

Este verbo se refere à ação de inalar fumaça (de cigarro ou charuto), bem como o ato de comer e beber com avidez. Também pode significar a ação de fazer algo desaparecer ou, então, de acreditar em alguma coisa.
